UO Startup Week, the annual, campuswide series of events highlighting entrepreneurship and innovation will take place virtually this year from November 16-22. Coinciding with Global Entrepreneurship Week, the week-long initiative will feature workshops, panel sessions, and the annual UO Elevator Pitch Competition during which students are challenged to pitch their business idea in 60 seconds for cash awards and mentorship opportunities.

New to this year’s Startup Week calendar is the Lundquist College of Business Research Slam. Faculty members will share their innovative research in only five minutes while their presentation slides advance automatically every 20 seconds in an event format known as PechaKucha. A team of student leaders will judge and crown the winning presentation.
